   QMS CERTIFICATION OVERVIEW.

Quality system Certification is the confirmation to a client that a quality management system is in place which will ensure that product (or service) is delivered consistently based on stated terms. This was first introduced in Nigeria as part of the UNIDO/SON Project that will ensure fair competition in the International market. As a member of ISO and recognising the emerging importance of the ISO 9000 series of quality management standard in international trade, SON in 1994 adopted ISO 9000 standards for use in Nigeria. In an intensive train-the-trainers course run by BSI, forty SON staff qualified as Assessors for the first time and the best twenty went on to qualify as Lead Assessors.  In Pokobros® Group, all hands must be on deck to maintain the Quality Management System in the certified companies and to expand the scope of this certification to other yet-to-be-certified  subsidiary companies of the conglomerate - POKOBROS® GROUP [W.A] LIMITED.
